How I Organize My Life

Ever since I was little I shared a room with my older sister. It was fine, we got along great and I think it was one of the reasons why we are so close. But this year, 21 years later I decided that I needed my own space and my own rules. So I moved to another room, and since day one I went by this rule that I heard about on a video on YouTube. The rule is if it takes less than 10 seconds do it now. It started with picking things up from the floor to keep it clean, then it progressed to making the bed immediately after waking up. After that I started applying this rule on everything. I learned to not delay anything especially if it is important, and that was a huge part in keeping not only my room organized but also my life. I got a lot more done than ever before and it made me feel a lot more productive. Another thing is making list and writing everything down, trust me no matter how small the thing is, you always say that you will never forget about it and you always do, and because this always used to happen to me I started writing everything and I mean EVERYTHING, I have three notebooks that I carry with me when I go to college, plus I have plain white papers everywhere to sketch my ideas, and I use my phone if I am out of the house and I don't have my notebooks, my phone is full of ideas and reminders now. But like a lot of people I sometimes forget about he lists I have made through the day. I write at least four lists a day and never stick to them all, sometimes I just forget I wrote them in the first place.

I write at least four lists a day and never stick to them all, sometimes I just forget I wrote them in

the first place. I envy people who write a list and stick to it. I also envy the people who use planners.

I have always wanted to be the kind of person who uses weekly and monthly planners, but it always seems like so much work. My life is a little messy to some people but it is the kind of mess I understand. I think not everything works for everyone you just need to try a lot of techniques and see what works for you the best because trust me once you have your own routine that works for you, your life will be so much easier and organized.
